SPAIN REACHES AN AGREEMENT WITH FINLAND

When I think about Finland I have two oppose feelings. On the one hand I am happy that they put conditions to SpĂ in to lend money and on the other hand I am unhappy too!

It seems that Spain and Finland have reached an agreement so that Spain will put money in a Finland account as a warrant. Well, something like that …

I am afraidd that this is not good for Europe because then other countries who will be helping Spain will feel that Spain is giving more safety to the people from Finland.

So, as Finland seems to be one of the few countries that seems to bring mistrust into Spain returning the money back I think I should act accordingly and have mistrust in Finland.

Russian vodka o vodka from Russia? Vodka from Russia.

A trip to Helsinki or to St Petersburg? To St Petersburg.

Well, I am exaggerating but one thing is clear for me. If I must choose between a product made in Germany or Finland I would choose a German product.

In any case, maybe Finland is quite right in asking for warranties. But I imagine I am also right to choose German products instead of Finnish products. Their freedom is my freedom.

HOW CAN THE US ASK THE EUROZONE TO SOLVE THE EUROCRISIS WHEN THE US CONGRESS IS AT ODDS WITH HOW TO SOLVE THE US EXCESSIVE DEBT?

Official presidential portrait of Barack Obama...

I HOPE OBAMA DOES NOT END LIKE ZAPATERO ...

There are people in Europe that are quite angry when Barack Obama and other people from the US tell politicians of the eurozone to solve the eurocrisis once and for all. Maybe now these European politicians can even say that is makes no sense that the Americans try to give lessons to the Europeans when their Congress cannot agree in how to reduce the enormous debt of the US (I have always thought that the big problem to the world in the long run is not the eurocrisis but the excessive debt of the US)

We could continue like this with Europeans and Americans arguing about who should give lesson to whom but while we continue like this one thing is for sure: the dictatorship of China becomes each day more powerful!

What I mean is that it is time that the US and Europe realise that they need each other! We should stop quarelling about who is the one that is doing the things in a worse way! Both parts are showing that they are acting in a bad way: the eurozone could have solved the eurocrisis a long time ago if the countries of the eurozone realised that ALL HAVE TO LOOSE IN ORDER TO WIN! And the same applies to the US maybe. But I won’t say to the US what to do. I think that back in Europe we have too much trouble to say to others what to do! I just wish that common sense takes place in both parts of the Atlantic. If not Democracy will be defeated in the long run I am afraid. Because the Chinese could always associate our fall to the fact that we are democracies. IS THAT NOT ENOUGH REASON FOR US TO UNITE?
