During decades we live in a cold war. Then, one day, the Berlin Wall fell and now we do not have an iron curtain anymore. During years and years we had Apartheid in South Africa. Now we have a country without Apartheid. Meanwhile the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians has remained and remained and remained and remained.
Now in some days things can change. For better or for worse, but they may change. A Palestinian state may be declared in the UN.
Never again had Israel been so much isolated as now. Never before we had an Arab Spring. Whatever it happens, I just hope that life is respected in the East side of the Mediterranean. Both people from Israel and Palestine are in my hearts. You both deserve better.
