Forest Track

Once upon a time there were 17 kids who went to a forest in one of the coldest days of a very cold winter. While the sun shined they played and played. Some of the kids liked so much to play that they even played with their clothes so they got quite wet. One of the kids, the one from Germany, while some of the other kids just played and played, just tried to have its clothes as dry as possible.
When the sunset was approaching some kids were angry because they could no longer play. The German boy envied the rest of the boys because they have enjoyed themselves quite much playing while he had been just keeping its clothes dry.

When the night fell into the 17 kids the temperature fell sharply and some of the kids began to be very cold. While they walked through the frozen forest towards their village it was obvious that the kids who had been playing and playing were freezing because they had not cared about their clothes being dry. On the other side, the German and some other smaller kids were warm as they had taken care of its clothes.

As they walked through the dark forest they could hear wolves so the kids were very afraid to be eaten by them. The kids with wet clothes and who had played a lot began to be very tired and told the German kid that if they had to reach the village safe and sound they needed to share the dry clothes among them. The German kid refused to help the rest of the other boys and told them that they had to take care of themselves from now on in the same way that he had been doing with his clothes. As the German kid was the strongest kid the other kids did as the strong kid said so that soon they froze and the German kid, Angelo, was the only one to be alive and once the wolves saw that he was alone, they ate the stronger kid and the other 16 weaker kids.

A STRONG GERMANY IN A WEAK EUROPE VS A WEAK GERMANY IN A STRONG EUROPE

Angela Merkel and Germans should decide if they want to continue with a strong Germany in a weak Europe or if they would prefer a weak Germany in a strong Europe. Now it is obvious that the choice has been to have a strong Germany in a weak Europe. I think this is a mistake because we leave in a global world so that what we need is a strong Europe to compete together against economies like the Chinese one. Besides Germany cannot remain very strong for a long time if it is surrounded by a weak Europe that does not buy its products and that is weak globally.

So I think that Angela Merkel should choose (for the benefit of Germany in the long run!) to have a weak Germany inside a strong Europe! What does that mean?:

A weak Germany inside Europe means that the eurozone is not just ruled from Berlin. It is ruled amongs the eurozone countries and they want a ECB with eurobonds! So a weak Germany means a Germany that loses now and accepts the eurobonds! It is obvious this is not good (now) for Germany but it is obvious too that it is good for Europe because it sens a clear message to the markets and to the world: WE MAYBE WEAK OR STRONG BUT WE ARE UNITED! MILIONS OF PEOPLE UNITED TO SAVE OUR CURRENCY. NOW YOU CANNOT ATTACK ONE OF US BECAUSE NOW WE ARE ALL JUST ONE!

If Germany accepted the eurobonds it would be bad for Germany at first but it will unite Europe! Needless to say that Germany has to ask something in order to accept the eurobonds! In this I’m with Angela Merkel totally!: AUSTERITY, AUSTERITY AND AUSTERITY. The eurozone should be ruled in a serious way and no country should be allowed to spend more than it can. Germany should accept the eurobonds while the rest must accept “Prussian standards of well governance”.

Germany is making now a fabulous job inside the eurozone because it is thanks to Berlin that now the whole eurozone is getting serious and autere. In this way I am very happy of the existence of Germany! But now Germany must realise that Europe is a team!

Let’s imagine the eurozne as 17 kids in a horrible cold winter! Some of the kids are cold because they have few clothes. The German kid has good clothes and it is not cold. The German kid, who is wise, tells the other kids to stop playing with snow because the snow is making them cold. As the other kids now that the German kid has good clothes they respect him and they know he is right. But as they are cold they want the German kid to share its clothes with them. The German kid does not want because he has its clothes because he is very responsible with his clothes while the other kids, or some of them, have lost their clothes while playing.

All the kids are far from home. One kid alone cannot go alone. Wolves would eat him. While they go together no wolf would eat them.

Well, in this tale I think that the German kid should realise that although he is the one with the best clothes he has to shared them with the rest in he want to reach home! By doing this he is not so strong among the other kids but by doing that the kids are a team and in the middle of the night that it is what counts. Angerla Merkel should think about this …

THE DAY THE EURO COLLAPSED

Lightning striking the Eiffel Tower, June 3, 1...

IF THE FRENCH HAD PUT THE EIFFEL TOWER ON THE EURO COINS NOW I COULD SHOW THE COIN INSTEAD OF THE TOWER ...

“One of the days that I remember less well was that historic day when the euro collapsed. I remember I was in a gondola through a small chanel in a quite desert part of Venice when somebody shouted from a window: “mamma mia, e alhora que faccio con mio euro? Marcello!”. I just wake up and then I realized that all had been a nightmare. I was in Tiergarten in Berlin and somebody had just thrown a euro to a litle lake. As the euro went down I remember that euro that fell me at the top of the Eiffel tower in Paris. I remember that when I went down a look for it behind the tower but I could not find it.

Anyway, today they have told on tv that the euro has collapsed. Thousands of people are going into the banks. They want to changed their euros if possible. Somebody askes the cash counter if it could change the euros for dollars or for pounds. The cash counter smiles and says: I would be happy to change your euros to dollars and pounds but as everybody knows it is almost 50 years ago since the US went bankrupt and since then they used the Chinese yuan. The pound it is almost 70 years that disappeared when the UK made an agreement with the Emirates so that now the UK have a sponsored currency currently called Fly Emirates.

- Wake Up! Wake Up! Giulia! Wake Up!

- My euros, my euros! Where are my euros!

- Giulia! You are having a nightmare! Your euros are longer gone. Like all the othe rcurrencies. Now you jst see them and the credit cards in museums!

- Oh, yes, it is true! It was our grand father the last one in the family who used coins. He always was very proud that he had seen the birth of a currency and the death of unhuman communism and unhuman capitalism.”
