Some days ago in London there was a very famous royal wedding. As I was watching the wedding I just thought how much you have to pay to maintain a monarchy in the UK and … in Spain.
I wonder if this was the same thought that made someone in Madrid protest to write a banner with NO A LA MONARQUÍA.
There is an article on CNN about the protests in Madrid. Tonight the PUERTA DEL SOL is full and in fact the gathering is banned so maybe in some hours we have not very nice images.
It seems that some media in Spain are angry with all this. I understand that some people do not like this protests but some from the extreme right media have even said that the young people in the square are related to basque terrorist organization ETA. Franco dies about 40 years ago but not his voice, I am afraid.
