Imagine you are a dictator. Imagine you are a Chinese dictator. Imagine that you are fed up of these new countries (in comparison with China) of West Euroasia that always tell you that you are not a democracy.
Imagine that the land that they adore because it was the birth of democracy is in high trouble. Would’nt it be a perfect move to save this country thanks to your money?
What I am saying is that if I was a Chinese dictator the first thing I will try to do is to change my attitude and become democratic. But meanwhile I would try to the world that even if they call me a dictator I have the enough wisdom as to have saved enough money to save “the land of democracy” that so much admire those in Europe that so much criticise me!
China has now the big opportunity to win some European hearts by just rescuing Greece. Some may say that it would be a humiliation for Europe that the land that gave birth to democracy has to be saved by a dictator regime back in China but it would be even more humiliating if all the eurozone falls!
China needs Europe and other lands to sell its goods. Europe needs China and other lands to lend them money to get their goods.
