As Angela Merkel is putting in danger the European project by not accepting common bonds for a common currency I wonder if it makes ssense to support the euro. If the main country, Germany, does not support the euro why should I support it?
So as I am fed up that Germany is bringing disaster again to Europe I have thought about buying dollars or pounds. This is not something very good to bring trust to the euro but when Germany treats the euro as if it was just their currency and not a European project well then maybe the best is to buy dollars and pounds.
But what is best?
As I like England I imagine that the best would be to buy pounds but if a lot of people buy pounds then maybe the pound is too strong.
I feel as a traitor thinking about buying dollars or pounds but Angela Merkel is not giving me any other option. When the most important country of the eurozone is against the euro (to go against eurobonds is to go against a common currency!) why should I support the currency?
I only know one thing. If the euro collapses because Germany continues not supporting it I won’t buy anything made in Germany for decades. I would buy everything to the British!
I have the feeling that Germany is rule by somebody who does not understand what is happening. A wise person in Berlin (in Germany) would support eurobonds or will tell the others that wants to leave the euro.
Now Germans do not go to greece because people in Greece are angry. Will Spain be the following destination not to come? Germany should learn form its history. History tells us that Germany can be the greates nation of Europe but also the foolest. Fortunately this time the foolishness of Germany is not causing deaths.
Maybe some people in German may think: OK, we are tired of giving money to Europe. Now we do not give a damm. if Europe collapses it does not matter. After all, we are a great nation so we always be better than most of the rest of Europe. Well, this may be true but forget coming to the south of Europe and be welcome. You may remain rich and we very poor but you won’t be well received in the sunny side of Europe. British, french and the rest of Europeans will be very welcome, as usual.
